Gurvinder Dhody

Ms. Dhody is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and has also been admitted to practice in Hong Kong.

She specialises in corporate, banking, commercial and mutual fund law and has gained world-wide experience in these areas with major US and UK law firms, including time spent with Coudert Brothers in the Middle East and Clifford Chance and Denton Hall Burgin and Warrens in Hong Kong.

After leaving private practice in 1989, Ms Dhody worked as specialised counsel with a number of financial institutions in the structured mutual fund area, including Citibank and Bank of Bermuda.

She became Chief Operating Officer for UBS Private Bank in Asia in 1997, where she had regional responsibility for the compliance, marketing and product development areas of the bank’s Asian operations.  In 1999 she was hired by Banque National de Paris in a similar role, which she occupied until joining Nean.
